Take out 50% of your triangle gussets and the windows associated with them, or install a big drain hole on the bottom plate. And how are you cutting these? @jubei know how much to over size for the ( I ASSume) plasma table so it the tabs and slots go together without much hassle? Just tossing some inside out there as I draw/design parts and can see lots of problem areas that can be corrected before it gets built.

I have an idea for the tabs. Not a big deal. I can always grind to fit whatever I need. It wont be much. But as for a drain holes. I'll have two drain holes in the canoe side of the link. I've also though about if I ever get stuff inside of the link. I'll drill it,clear it and weld the hole closed. Not a big deal. I'm not going to remove any gussets. I'm keeping them all. I don't want to twist the link if I bind it. That's why I have gussets though out the whole link.

Anyone see the cream at the xgames?

They're being pretty quiet about it. Some "ipod" Swiss snowboarder smashed his face on the bottom of the halfpipe. Carted him off after 10 minutes on the snow. Never moved.

They only mentioned that he was transported and was being checked for a head injury. No shit. Putin's gonna be pissed that we killed a Russian in such silly games. :D

Any suggestions for stuff to explore in the general direction of Alamosa or Durango this time of year?

Easy to access stuff, historic, scenic, etc. Haven't spent much time down there but want to camp probably this coming weekend. Temps will be in the 50s.

Edit, sand dunes have been on the to do list for a while. Temps look good so far so i think I'll be planning on that direction if anyone wishes to join.

Ooooh and i found out how to get good gas mileage! Filled it up before going up the pass and coasted all the way down!

There is supposed to be good camping just outside of the sand dunes. Think it was called rainbow falls

I’d go with ya but not quite set up to go out yet.

Those are by Manitou Springs. There's camping off medano pass road but it's not accessible this time of year. You can drive a bit of the lower portion but i don't think there's any camping until you get into the wilderness which is further up.

This is NOT how you recover a vehicle from water.

    Screenshot_2018-01-28-19-17-54.jpg

Went in last weekend (i think) in @Star-Lord stomping grounds. The bottom picture is the last picture before the front bumper ripped off, flung across the ice and truck went back to the bottom. Thankfully nobody was ripped in half by the bumper.

I've had three. They are pretty bulletproof (assuming i6). Only thing is the 00-01s had a manifold or head issue that's somewhat common and prone to cracking (just if you look at those years). Got better mpg than the taco with similar mods.

What lift does it have and does it have an SYE?

I had a 99,00 and 2 01s. Out of all of them only problems I ever had was 1 tail light intermittently worked due to the light connection (known issue) and fan clutch prematurely died on one. Never had any issues out of them other than that and I put some really hard miles on them. They are really great rigs. I would love to have a 2door 4x4 with manual trans

Yeah i had two 97s and a 98. Just heard about the manifold issue while i was researching. I wanted to get another and give her the ole LS swap. Definitely good trail rigs. Could add a bit of sound deadening and make them a decent but quieter.
