    Lol I worked most of the weekend. Held up my end of the deal with my friend who helped me lay the tile, I had to work on his truck Saturday, Sunday I helped fix his 4-wheeler and cleaned house. I need more sleep :bananadead:

    That’s what we do at the shop when penetrant oil can’t get into the threads or it’s rusted that bad, heat it well but don’t melt it and carefully work it back and forth to get it out. Same trick works on seized 02 sensors

    I tried to do my o2 sensor on my 99... Ended up needing the exhaust shop to weld in a new bung :laugh:

    I snapped the bolt in half and had the new o2 hanging on with 1 bolt and a hose clamp before the shop fixed me up. I was happy to to pay them 40 or 50 bucks or what ever it was. I've found sometimes as an amateur mechanic it can be easier to pay up than fuck it up yourself first then fuck up the fix then pay up lol

    So I removed the LED bulbs from the headlights. They work good, and would be even better in a projector housing or a truck that’s not as tall as mine. The shield over the low beam chip provides a decent “cut off” but doesn’t really light up the ground in front of the truck, just way further ahead. Yes I know I can adjust the headlights but the halogens light up the ground in front of me as well as up ahead so I went back to them.

    I also came across a couple members that reported about their experiences with led bulbs in cold weather and ice. Since LEDs don’t get hot they can’t warm up the housing and melt ice on the lens like halogens do (just some interesting info even tho we rarely get ice here).

    Anywho the led kit is up for grabs for anyone interested, will fit anyone’s vehicle with a 9003 bulb, plug and play, PIAA brand, $100.

    @because_minitruck

    And good morning TW fam!

    You know it!!!! Just figured I might as well do it all at once ya know.

    Still trying to decide if I want to run the wires from the back up underneath into the cab first.

    Or run them from the back all the way to the engine bay, then into the cab for switches.

    What would you recommend?

    For your rear lights, run them from the lights to the aux panel, then to the switch. (Remember to flip out the switch to kill power on aux panel when working) Make sure to wrap each exterior harness in either 1/4” or 3/8” loom to protect them. You can pick up the loom from O’Reillys, they even sell em by the box which wouldn’t be a bad idea since you’ll be running multiple harnesses. Or you can tell them the size and custom length you want, it’s not that expensive. BWD is the brand of loom I use.

    For the switch, order from Cali-raised. That’s who your ditch lights switch is from and they have a “rear lights” one too. CH4x4 also has similar switches with diff labeling but the same style pigtail connectors.

    Same stuff I wrapped your ditch light harness under the hood with

    Thanks man!!! I'll probably run them from the back to the engine bay, then into the cab.

    I need about 50' of loom. Prices seem to be universally about $6 @ 10' rolls
