    No, King (and everyone else except for Icon) uses 14" coils and these are 13" so technically you can put them on but have to crank the shit out of them for the same ride height and you're not gonna be happy with how that behaves

    I thought fox uses 600lb 13" springs. I know Icon does (but 650lbs). There is no reason to not use these coils on Kings, the length should be fine because the preload would be the same on a 13" or 14" coil.

    You'll have the same preload on a 14 or 13" spring if the spring rate doesn't change at the same ride height. Yes you'll have more threads showing but the threads showing does not equal preload. Preload is measured by the free length of the spring minus the compressed length, so 2" of threads does not mean the coil is compress 2".

    Okay, you're right about that. However that means that you lose the ability to lift from 0-3.5" as Kings are designed.
    It's technically possible to put this cool on there but still the results will suck

    Possible coil bind as well, so good point about cranking them. Short answer yes they "can" work but may not be the best option.
