I may try to tackle this myself. seems like a fairly flat surface to do. I'm out of country currently and can't measure the roof of my truck. any idea on how big of a sheet of vinyl I'd need? maybe do the mirrors if there is excess

Just saw this ‘18 on a dealers lot and it has a black roof and blacked out trim. From the factory? Didn’t see any mention of it on window sticker.E66E8815-DCE3-4F17-9A50-1EF041C55298.jpg

Hey brother, I did mine and the flat part was straightforward. The side wells were also easy with the rubber removed.

The hardest part was the windshield and back window. I later read a spray bottle with water gives you a little more workability.

I would read up on this and definitely not a one man job, imo.

I have an access cab, and ordered the vinyl from Amazon- 4' wide x 5' long.

Not sure about a double cab though.

    A few pictures for reference:

Not a great pic but 2 cans of Plastic Dip and a year and a half later still looks fine.

Thanks man! I also have an access cab so that'll be the size I need. I may get a bit extra and do the mirror caps. I've been watching videos online and they all make it look so easy.

what product did you use? it's looking like the Avery is the easiest to work with and around the price point of 3M. still a lot more research to do before I go ahead and do it

Local vinyl shop quoted an estimate around $550 for my roof and the decal on the hood... thinking that’s a bit high, what do you guys think

There’s a guy on this forum who does wraps in the Bucks County PA/Philly area and he just quoted me $200-$220 for the roof (DCSB). His contact is @Aztec.Taco, not sure where you are in Jersey.
