This is making my life complicated now... I'm looking for a standard rear bumper (no HC, no fancy nothin'). I was leaning towards RCI but I've been reading some less-than-favorable reviews regarding lack of customer service, weld qualities, and ill fitting rear bumpers. Am I wrong to doubt my choice?

Otherwise, Don't like the C4 bumper, I don't love the lines of the Pelfreybilt bumper, although much respect for the company as I have full Pelfrey skids and had their sliders on my 07.

I do like the look of the CBI or Mobtown bumpers. Help me decide... RCI/CBI/Mobtown. RCI does offer "brackets" for the BSM (I asked them for a pic and they didn't have one), that I could run around town and remove for camping/offroad trips. I'm mostly ok not having BSM anyway.

    First world problems...

My vote is mobtown. I have their skids, sliders, and in a week their rear bumper. I have been to the shop 4-5 times and also wheeled with the owner Joe a few times and he’s a great dude and deserving of your business.

I would seriously consider using the Never-Wet spray so all the mud just falls off instead of caking on there.

The RCI just has some brackets for the BCM. They would hang below the bumper

You are not wrong to doubt your choice. I would look elsewhere than RCI

Correct. The c4 has a pretty slick solution tho.

Hmmm..how much are you selling it for?

Also, what are you doing for a rear camera? It looks like the spare blocks the view of the factory backup camera.

Hey guys! I had some spare time this weekend and put together a mega list of all the 3rd Gen rear bumper options I could find, along with most of their stats (price/weight/available options/photos/etc). If anyone's interested I can post those up I dunno either in here (it'd be on page 4 or 5 though?) or I could make a new post in a bit and have all the info on the front page? (if that's cool w/ OP I don't wanna steal anyone's thread!)

All these answers can be found on our site:

    http://mobtownoffroad.com/product/bumper-3/

Putting prices can bite you though since prices can change. It is very rare for a vendor to post or update prices on a forum.

Yep! I went to every vendors site to pull info from. I was going to include 'Last update:" timestamps on everything to try and cut down on any potential confusion =)

Use the side mirrors. There once was a point in time where vehicles did not have back up cameras.

I relocated my camera to where I put the red box. ran wires along red line and spliced / extended the existing camera wires. used the pelfrey relocate mounting bracket. Thx @Trident904 for pic, too lazy to go take a pic of mine :D

I still have decent visual from the stock location. If I was running 33's I would be able to see better.

Any reason why people are replacing their rear bumper for a non high clearance? To get a swing out and mount leds? If i was spending money id go with a high clearance...

Personally, I was rear ended and need a replacement. I don't want to cut into my truck, so a stronger bumper with some lights and higher clearance (no hitch) makes sense for me.

Because they can and there's nothing you can do to stop them.
