Damn that’s pretty good. I want to get a winch/bumper and will probably get that one. i was going to do a lift first but kind of want to do winch/bumper first

 

That's how I did it w/ my 3rd gen. IMO, a lift will give you 2.5" - 3" more clearance sure.... but a winch will pull you out of whatever mess you get in (plus it's useful to have a winch around the house) I have pulled trees down and shrubs out with mine

 

Yeah but with a lift you can just drive over those shrubs.

 

but I didnt want to drive over them.... I wanted to pull them out and put new ones in

 

If only we had someone with a winch that could have moved it...

that's the convo that he and I had... he wants to send them back, but doesnt have any replacement headlights to throw in while his are getting fixed (I would have said to hit you up since you now have my old ones, but he has a 2012+)

Hi friend traded in his Jeep and took the winch off before he did and gave it to me. And I wasn't implying I would get rid of it, I was more implying I need to pick up bumper.

 

or a hidden winch mount!

 

Yeah I thought about doing that. Us Offroad makes a nice one. A lot of the reasons I was holding back was not wanting to spend the money on the winch and the bumper, but now that that is different...
