I usually bring a print out from camelback Toyota parts and have part numbers ready and they match the price.

I get the wholesale price at my dealer now because they like me, but if I'm ordering a lot of parts or expensive ones I buy online still.

Try changing the hinges out for your good ones, I bet that helps out.

Hey all, I'm finally here because of the TRS discount for my 4Runner retrofit but I also have a Tacoma. Lol.

On the topic of local deal parts, my local dealers here in PA won't match anything. The one oarts guy told me to go ahead and but my stuff from McGeorge Toyota if their price is better. Mist he would give me off on a steering rack was 15% off list price. And you know those things list for around $800.

Great action shot, though looks like you need a Mullet, Denim and 90's sunglasses.

Almost back together, had to redo the pieces by the headlights for clearance and ran out of tube this weekend.

So I messed with the tailgate last night (pushing and pulling on it to bend it into place) and it now shuts better (doesn't lean to one side), but for some reason it will not latch. It's hard to see what its hitting, but it lined up onto the latch, but doesn't close all the way. Any ideas? Might remove the bumpers on the side to see if those are causing the issue.

Does the latch on the hatch work? I had to replace mine once with a junk yard one.
Guess you could pull the receiver on the car off and see if it functions properly.

Worked on the donor, but though about replacing it with the latch from the one I pulled off. I'll give that a try tomorrow.
