According to the government of the state of Virginia, there is a state income tax....

    That’s not a Gen1. It’s a Gen2.

I'm confused. Virginia is not on the list of states with no income tax. Plus on my W2 under "state" it says VA and in block 17 "state income tax" is enough money for me to buy 2 glocks...

My bad, there's no state property tax, but with personal property tax it makes up for it.

Gen 1 g19s are SUPER rare. I think only one or two police departments in the entire country used them and they weren't sold to the public.

Supposedly there were only 13(?) made. Last year one sold for $6725. The last one sold for more.

To clarify, the grip along the back edge is the giveaway on it not being a Gen1

Gen1 pistols did not have the serrations/checkering on the grip

Finally got it! First 10 rounds through were right on target, not the typical left frouping Glock normally has.

I originally scoffed at the 19X, but then I realized I've been carrying G17 mags in my G19 since 2012... If someone ever sells a 19X style frame that will work with Gen3 innards and slide I'll be all over it.

We should do a pole to see how many people actually have hands that fit in the finger grooves since the gen 5s no longer have them. My hand personally fits in the fingers grooves just fine and I actually prefer them.

I just had the trigger guard double undercut on my gen 4 g19 and it feels perfect in my hands now. Love the finger grooves

My hands fit the finger grooves just fine but owning other pistols without them, I prefer the Gen 5.

Mine don't. I have small hands so they ride up on the peaks of the finger grooves instead of down in the valleys.
