I like Valvoline Moly Grease, it's good for CVs, drive shafts, pretty much anything in the truck that takes Grease.

Finished painting the old stock wheels. Weather has been bad, truck is super dirty right now but I’m pleased with the way the wheels turned out. For a rattle can anyways haha.

Ripped my interior apart this weekend to clean and sound deaden.

Welded on a Vibrant ultra-quiet resonator to tone down my magnaflow.

Nothing major, but replaced some "cracked" air hoses. CA smog guy gave me shit but still passed me. Figured I would get a head start for next time, and because I may be moving to a county with more strict smog requirements soon(ish). Hoses were only cracked on the parts that overlap with other plastic/metal. Fuckin' California regs, amirite

    20180129_160753.jpg

On that note, I'm still on the lookout for a new/used airbox...

    Question:

Does everything really need to have a relay? Honestly I don’t think any of my LED lights need to have a relay.. What do you guys think??

Is it all button up and driving? Curious to hear your thoughts on the sound deadening and if the resonator makes you less ricey.

Oh and nice little footnote at the end there. Damn dude... that's gonna be nice.

Makes wiring easier constant hot to the relay and a switched power to power the relay. Less amps to activate the relay than the work circuit ma need.

Resonator got rid of all the rice. Quieted it down more than I anticipated.

It'll be a tedious process of cleaning, applying sound deadening, cleaning all the parts I took out, and reassembling. Can't wait to drive it with a thorough sound deadening job and the new seat and see how comfortable it is.

New leafs will take 3-4 weeks, and I need those to replace the broken leaf to drive. And I will cycle those and see if I need to mess with my shock mounts, could delay it some more.

Only other project I have sitting here is limit straps for the front, but that should be pretty easy.

My Alcans took a solid 7 weeks, like they said they would... maybe I ordered during the busy time.

    Worth it though I believe.

Guessing middle of winter is their slow time. I was told just over 3 weeks as their best guess. Not really concerned how long it takes, as I don't even drive my truck in the winter.

And yes, for sure worth it. $710 for custom leafs built for my application, which I can pickup only a couple hours away, versus $500ish plus shipping for some off-the-shelf solution that won't hold my weight.
