    Howdy folks!

    Well, after 23 years and more than 300,000 miles my faithful old Mazda pickup passed away a couple of weeks ago. Which meant after a couple of decades I had to find another truck!

    After perusing the field it didn't take long to settle on a Tacoma. I've added a couple of kids since last I bought a pickup so a two seater wasn't going to suffice any longer so I settled on a crew cab. Lucked out and found a 2017 model I liked a lot.

    Had to read the manual like a novel to come up to speed on all the new features since my 20th century buddy was built. Exterior rear view mirror defrosters? What are they gonna come up with next?

    The truck lacks a topper so I started researching which led me here. This is just the place I was looking for.

    I bet the the TCO on that Mazda (rebadged Ranger, right) was down in the dirt.

    With the modern price of admission you might have to keep the Tacoma more years/miles to catch that!
