Check engine light showed up on my way to work. I have some new noises coming from the engine now :pout:. A bit over life right now. Not sure what I'll do but it's going to have to wait a bit.

Very true and exactly how I felt when I woke up this morning. Drove BT to work, kinda hoping the engine would just blow up, but it seems "ok". The problem sounds like it's timing chain related. Only noticeable while driving around town and when RPMs are lower. Drove on the highway fine.

That peak, or at least a view, will be in a few months. I should be getting word if I'll be converted to a permanent position in this office soon. That comes with a fat raise and much needed stability. I'll be getting married at the end of June and that's going to be an absolute blast. I'll hopefully find and purchase a house.

Life will get better, but I am just a bit sick of it at this moment.

Went for a much needed hike! BabyT runs fine so not sure what the hell is going on with that engine.

Nice to see some trees that aren't covered with brown needles or are just Black.

It's a fresh change. Plenty of beetle kill and charred trees around here though.

I really love these tires. Fantastic in the snow, quiet on the road, and the truck rides soft/smooth compared to the MTRs.

Realtor texted us today. The house Lizzy fell in love with is probably being bought. Good news is a really nice 2bd 1ba with a nice shop just became available. Going to look at it tomorrow.

I'm really rooting for a shop but it may or may not happen. 1st and foremost I'll be buying a place with the idea of possibly having to sell it in 3 years. We want it to be small and 2 bedrooms at max so if/when we rent it, we don't market to families with kids. We would prefer to rent to people in our similar position right now.

Now, if I can get a small place with a shop? That's good resale and easy to rent. Doesn't mean it will happen.

Your dogs sure have really big tongues! Except for the one that has the short legs and is mostly a rear guard!

Been thinking about having a shop quite a bit the past few days. It just makes life so much easier when you have a warm spacious place to tinker with things. I'd be a happy camper with a nice little shop and a small loft to live in

It makes a big difference. I get flustered easily in tight spaces (why did I get a reg cab? I don't know).

Saw the house. We are waiting to hear back about the pre approved loan (should be good to go) but I think this is it. Great layout, nice on the inside. The shop is pretty nice. A bit bigger than a 2 car garage with an attic for storage. Plenty for me.

Should be a quick sell if we have to move in a few.

    good to hear :fingerscrossed:

I have a shop here and it is so nice just not to have to clean the snow off the truck every morning. But that's going to go away once i start doing projects then the daily gets to sit outside. Only one bay in the shop but lots of room otherwise.
