Resonator got rid of all the rice. Quieted it down more than I anticipated.

It'll be a tedious process of cleaning, applying sound deadening, cleaning all the parts I took out, and reassembling. Can't wait to drive it with a thorough sound deadening job and the new seat and see how comfortable it is.

New leafs will take 3-4 weeks, and I need those to replace the broken leaf to drive. And I will cycle those and see if I need to mess with my shock mounts, could delay it some more.

Only other project I have sitting here is limit straps for the front, but that should be pretty easy.

My Alcans took a solid 7 weeks, like they said they would... maybe I ordered during the busy time.

    Worth it though I believe.

If my truck had those wheels on it when I got it, I would've done this. Looks sick

Guessing middle of winter is their slow time. I was told just over 3 weeks as their best guess. Not really concerned how long it takes, as I don't even drive my truck in the winter.

And yes, for sure worth it. $710 for custom leafs built for my application, which I can pickup only a couple hours away, versus $500ish plus shipping for some off-the-shelf solution that won't hold my weight.

For some reason I have the sudden urge to buy a Double Cab bed and turn it into a trailer.

Ive wanted to do this, but a long bed, mainly just because I think it’d be fun haha. Having a RTT and not having to worry about taking it down before driving anywhere.

I was thinking of doing a long bed and then I realized it would be way too long for off-roading. Taking a look at other off-road trailers they're all about the size of the double cab bed - a good comparison is the Military M101 trailer size.

Ah I can see that. My would just be to leave at a camp. Around me the lock a lot of gates right before hunting season and unlock them after.

I think it’d be awesome to haul a trailer like that with a tent loaded with food, water and other supplies for base camp in the “back country”.

I really don’t have a use for one. But it’d have to give me some sort points in the expo world.

A small camp trailer would be much for suitable for my uses.

All trailers are a bit too much for anything more than a fire road. It's true you can drag them through technical stuff but I think we can all agree that's a pain in the ass.

I assume you're doing the headliner and floor as well? For the floor are you going with a mass loaded vinyl?

I have a feeling you're going to be extremely happy with the results of the sound deadening project.

Are you satisfied with the exhaust sound now? Does it still have more of a throaty note than stock?

So today while outside when my truck was in idle I could smell the fuel, like it was a stronger smell than when around my gf parents tundra for example.. anyone know the reason? Also thinking about getting a flow master or straight piping it.

Plugs won't cause a raw gas smell but if you have rot in an evap lime that could. Are all your vacuum lines solid? Any codes? Also I'd vote you go to an exhaust shop with a full mandrel bender so not a place on Broadway or Baseline haha and have them try a couple mufflers on for ya. Lots of folks like the 16 and 18 inch Magnaflows for the V6.

Mini Mexico! Haha no I don't have any codes at all, I'm going to have to look for a leak but don't think I have one, you know of a good muffler shop? I've heard good things about Scottsdale muffler but not too sure about it
