Off road tires and leveling. So far

Your "security" doesn't help those who don't have a garage.... No one should have to change their lifestyle because of thieves....

Does anybody have or know anybody that has some of these Eagle Alloy wheels available to sell? I just need one to have a matching spare. 16x8, 6 lug, 8 Hole, Aluminum. Chrome or black doesn’t matter.

Lol, then we just have to put up with thieves.. they're not going anywhere thanks to prop 47, we the citizen of GREAT `ol Cali vote to pass that DAF prop. It's the society we live and give them.

Our laws are too lenient and protect them too much. We need a Philippine president. Lol

see, i would do that... BUT the lights actually serve a purpose on my truck because well.. i use it lol.. cant park in a garage because i dont have one at my apartment complex lol. theres covered parking with lights above the spots and cameras, heres the catch though, a few days before my lights got stolen, the light above my parking spot burnt out. awesome because my parking spot is in the darkest corner of the area now lol. whats good is the apartment complex has cameras! BUT for some stupid ass reason, they dont have any facing the parking spots yet haha.

Manager is tracking the burnt out lights now, and said they are working on getting more cameras.

installed the new ditch lights today. Used some of those torx security hardware. after getting it into the position i wanted and tightened down, i took JB Weld and filled the heads of the mounting hardware so you cant get a tool in there even if they had the correct torx bit. wasnt able to wire them because i ran out of daylight. Flying out to Washington in the morning so headed out to finish the wiring and securing them as soon as the sun is up

will post up pics in when i get back from WA

Look like it fit the garage just fine.

Back on topic. Hate thieves. Wish I can do what I want to them when I catch them red handed, but sadly I can't....

I doubt an alarm can detect someone cutting and removing your lights in the future unless you buy one of those super sensitive unit. But you mention you live in an apartment, it'll be pretty annoying to have the alarm chirp when neighbor kids are running around. Eventually, you'll get tired of checking and figure it's just someone walking by.

The benefit of a camera, you'll hope to capture a face if it's not cover up or dark enough to make sense of what you're looking at. But that too, they already got away and stole something before your camera capture them, it's already too late.

Catch them red handed, give them a haymaker, you get arrest and charge with battery. Use a bat or tool, you'll get charge with assault with a deadly weapon. cop consider thief as low priority. we lose, thieves win.

Pros and cons. We, the working class, will never win this battle.

I agree with v5, either make your car/truck less eye catching/potential for thieves or park it in a secure area where you know 99% of the time its going to be safe. But no matter what we do, if they really want it, they'll find a way to get it.

yeah thats what is keeping me from getting an alarm right now. not wanting to deal with it going off all the time lol. as far as catching a battery charge. "caught them *insert crime*, attempted to stop them, they came at me so i had to defend myself" hahaha. then remove dash cam and not mention it was recording the whole thing lol.
i agree on the "if they want it, they will get it" thing. theres no way to fully protect your shit. locks only hinder a theft. not much can be done to actually prevent it 100%. I am just going to make it a hell of a task to get things from my truck without either alot of work and dedication, or catching something on camera

Honestly, it's probably cheaper to buy a new muffler then paying twice for 2 removal and 2 weld in with modification.

    Or...
    Trade complete exhaust. LOL

No problem, just figure someone would rather have a matching spare then running 37 with 35/33 spare. Lol.

No worry, will wait a few more days before I recycle it.

It's free, if someone can put it to use. Haha

I actually have 37 12.5 17, just need a ton of chopping and regear before I run them though.
