I wish everyone would get HAM or a rugged radio... So much better range and less fucky with the tuning. I hate CB.

 

I hear you there. Too many times have I crossed paths unexpectedly and it was because the oncomer didn't switch to the right channel or had there squelch up too high and didn't hear me call out my location.

 

I need to do this!

 

I ordered a rugged radio that ill keep in my Lexus when I get it. Just the handheld one has a better range than our CB's

 

I’ve definitely used it for this before (traffic updates and lane selection)
