Yep, I got my stamp literally a week before New Town (Sandy Hook) happened. I am just now finally seeing bulk 22LR back at Walmart, what, like 5 years later now..

So you do have a trust or just the stamp for the suppressor?

Really I've had good luck with 22 lol. But I keep let's just say roughly 5 ammo boxes full of it and never really had that much trouble getting it. Now I couldn't get it in bulk but I got it. I shoot probably 10k + rnds of 22lr a yr if not more. It's just too much fun not to

Yeah, the suppressor is in a trust. I think the new rules say the sheriff has to sign off on a Form 4. I only did a trust, because the sheriff in the county I lived in, at the time, was anti-NFA - so I had to bypass putting it in my name.

No the sheriff just has to look at it he has no approval at all on it. There are different rules for people being on the trust. Like now everyone on the trust has to go through the background check and when i did mine since I am the owner I was able to add my daughter without her needing a background check same if I added a friend etc back in the day now they have to go through a background check. Also on all purchases the trust has to fill some form out but it is still quicker than the normal form and waiting period.

Yeah, it's been about 6 years since I've done any NFA stuff...I really grew out of shooting - I used to go A LOT

This reminds me - I really need to update my trust and send the ATF my new address :anonymous:

Any recommendations for a good range in the area? I work across the street from an indoor range but its $$$.

I was spoiled in VA where I had my choice of free/cheap ranges to go to.

Nope. Not free but cheap. 3 or 5 bux for the day. Limited hours, esp in winter. Nice range though.

Eagle guns indoor in concord is 15/hour meh.

Got ya. I am spoiled with a state range that's free only abt an hr away. It's only a 100 yrd range but it's nice.

Anyone here live in/around Pineville? Looking into some new builds down that way and was curious on anyone's take on the area. Currently just rent in South Park.

I'm in Indian Land, SC. Pineville is about a 15 drive. I go through Pineville 2-3 times daily.

    #foolwithmytool update @Sandman614

    @TRDMAN @Bannerman @Cozza

I have the tool in my garage. I also procured the bushing / race setter kit from harbor freight. This weekend looks fairly frigid. I vote no. Next weekend, no good, running to SOS Sat, and sunday's are generally no good for me.

How about we go tentative for Sat the Feb 17th? I can host a few trucks, but not more than 4 I would say. Open to ideas.

I was thinking if someone could host where more could be invited it could be like a meetup fix a few trucks block party type of deal but not a major mod day. Yes replacing and or upgrading is far more important than a lunch at a resturant!

Seen the pics you posted at SOS and the buggy that thing is looking sick. It looks like a go cart for the rocks! Cannot wait for AOP and see that thing run. Is there going to be a shakedown run before AOP?

Yeah I’m down with that if there’s a place with more room for sure. That buggy will likely go to Gulches once it’s up and ready for a trial run

Possibly could do that, I need to get the bushing first!

No one wants to do it on my gravel driveway...
