    F-150 order has been submitted. Dealer says I should have a VIN and build date within two weeks!

    I had skipped the brake controller in the build and now I'm glad I did. I think it was a $300 option. I discovered I can get the OEM 2018 brake controller for $110, pop it in, then just use ForScan to tell the truck ECU it's there. So for a $110 controller and maybe a $20 OBD cable I'll be set!

    All the dumb choices in one vehicle
    Morning y'all! About 3" of snow in Somerville, not much in Littleton. The drive in was interesting. I saw a couple accidents and quite a few bad drivers.

    Yeah same here. It is interesting tech though!

    My desktop doesn't see too much use, but it has 3 EVGA 640s (I think?) in it. Mid grade cards, not really great for gaming. I bought them so I could run all 6 of my monitors.

    Remind me to add you. I saw @tacobell007 added me last night while I was watching Netflix. Molly goes "Oh, is that Drew?" How on earth did she know? :goingcrazy::help:

    I'll probably eventually have kids. Probably. Maybe once the truck is "done". And definitely not for like 5 more years at least.

    I should probably pick that one up. I've heard good things. Ugh.

    That's what I did with my aux battery. I didn't want to cram it in the engine bay, so I threw it in the bed in a waterproof box.

    Yeah I first started my account when I lived in Singapore, so when I came back to the US for college I couldn't watch Netflix or anything since it was region locked to Singapore.     The main selling point of the drop in was how cheap it was :rofl:

    I was building it out watching the MSRP climb thinking "What can I live without"?

    I almost skipped the tow package because it has a hitch and wiring even if you don't get it, and it was $1000. I think it gave me a transmission cooler, tougher sway bar, sway control, and trailer backup assist. I just couldn't bring myself to order a truck without a tow package.

    Only real sacrifice I made was the moon roof because that was $1000 and I've lived without one for four years as it is. Plus the rear window is powered so that makes it easier to open and helps make up for it.
