Have them email you the window sticker showing what all is included, as that price seems a bit high for not having much for options added.

Work on getting the VIN off that specific truck and make an offer to several other dealers in your area (50 mile radius) on it. They can and do trade vehicles to make a sale. You just need the VIN, they can locate it.

If the dealer where it is located won't give up the VIN, tell them you don't feel comfortable working with them if they can't provide it to you.

I have the window sticker and VIN info. All it has is the addon $650 for tow package. Pretty sure all TRD OR come with tow package. 37100 is starting MSRP for the TRD OF 4X4 DCSB.

Yea I never do is that price before TTL? That is a pretty good price for the premium and tech package. Your MSRP was probably close to 41k?

I spent 37,500 on my 2017 TRD 4x4 Off Road. It's a double cab with five inch bars.

I assume that is OTD? No premium or tech packages?

My 2017 TRD OR 4x4 6M with door sills and all weather mats MSRP was only $35ish.
    Yours must be the auto.

Definitely get all dealer fees removed if you can.

That was out the door, I believe I got slightly over 3k off of MSRP. Nothing additional outside of towing package, 5 inch bars and all weather mats (if you can call them that).

Yea its an Auto. Sticker is $37,123 and that includes the 995 fee and the $650 Tow Package and and All weather floor liners for $225. So basically they are giving me $3077 about 8.2% off Total MSRP. Which seems ok but not great. Some of you guys are getting upwards of 12% off. So Cal Dealers seem to be a little more skimpy on the discounts. I am sure running a business here is not cheap.

You could try and find a dealer somewhere around that does not charge any dealer fee, if they have a similar truck you can get them to match the price then you can take that price to the other dealer and say "hey these guys are offering me this price with no dealer fee" and see if they can match it. I saved a good $500-$800 doing that. For reference I picked up my 17 OR AT SB with prem/tech JBL and carpet mats for $35,289 before TTL and no dealer fee - I think about 12% off MSRP, but I don't live in CA. In my process it seemed like the volume of sales of the dealership was directly related to how much discount they would do.

Well the truck sold at almost full asking price so the dealer knew what they were doing plus people in SoCal are dumb and will to pay close to full MSRP on Tacomas so they don't move much on them. I found another one same truck but they had 2k in dealer add ons they we're not willing to remove. MSRP on it was 39,300 with steps TRD aluminum skid plate bed extender roof rack mud guards and a couple other little things which I didn't really care about. Ended up getting it down to 34800+TTL after a lot of haggling. I feel it was a decent price for the area plus I was able to take advantage of the 0.9% APR from Toyota. There was a couple premium+tech packages at a few dealers left I probably could have gotten the same price on but the moon roof lowers the roof down too far for me and my head rubs.

I'm here on Guam and I hashed out $38K for my 2017 OR. The dealership tried to tack on the extended warranty, tire warranty, etc. which probably would have added up to about $41K. The only issue have is this damn orange peel on a few spots on the body.

MSRP should be 35,000 and OTD (LITERALLY OUT THE DOOR ALL IN) should be 32000.

    What??

That makes no sense. How the heck can an SR5 be more than an TRD OR?

Bought a plain Jane 2017 double cab SR5 used from a local dealer with only 3,500 miles on the odometer about two weeks ago. $26k out the door.

4x4? That's not a bad price! What's your sales tax rate?

No, it's a 2wd. Alachua county sales tax rate is 6.5%.

First post. First Tacoma. Just secured a 2017 TRD Sport DC SB 4x4, White, Premium/Tech with JBL, Tow Package, All Seasons Mats $36,225 OTD with all fees. MSRP was 39,808. They also gave me 2k over the book trade in value for my car, which I was not expecting. Was also able to get 0% 60 months.

Didn’t quite get to 10% off, but when I figure in the trade, it seems like a pretty good deal. Should be picking it up Saturday.

    Any thoughts?
