some weird lady finished her workout this morning and went over to the mirror wall and took a selfie. I saw it unfolding and while on the bench in view in her photo gave her one of these.

I hope she posts it without noticing.

Speaking of motorcycles. I just got one after a very long break. I need some canyons now!

I’ve been hitting the one above Saratoga (newish here I don’t know the canyon name). Hwy 17 has too much traffic and I don’t want to die up there either. Anything else within 30 minutes or so of San Jose?

You mean hwy 9? There's a lot up there along Skyline Blvd, Page Mill Rd, Alpine Rd, old la Honda. Also on the other side of San Jose check out Mt Hamilton road.

Yep hwy 9 is the one. There is a ton up there. I haven’t done much after the top at the four way stop. Just a little way down each.

Looking at Hamilton rd on a map I think I might give that a try this weekend.

Mt Hamilton is fun. There's a bunch of roads around Santa Cruz. If you want some gravel there's that road by Soquel Demonstration forest. It's not all that hard...I take my vstrom up there from time to time when I get sick of riding between campbell and fremont 5 days a week.

I’m pretty excited. I’m coming from sport bikes and it’s a lot more fun. Although completely different riding style. It’s taking some getting used to!

Considering damascus steel is around $150 a pound...good luck.

Is that Leer a 100R? I've been trying to get to the bottom of what their sliding windoor-configuration is for our DCLB.

Yep that is the entry level 100r, with sliding screen windoor. Kick myself in the ass everyday for not getting them on both sides. Probably could have skipped the screen part since the other regular slider with pet screen has one. Was thinking ventilation for the mutt in the rare occasion he rides in back. Very happy with the shell no leaks and fitment is good.

These things are pretty damn detailed. The components are total dog shit but gonna see how the body fits on a Losi mini crawler. I got all excited when it had a full bed on the box. Didn’t even see it as an option. Oh well.
