yeah my patrol car is an 09 and has less than 10k miles on it...id rather not risk some asshole hitting it

my truck on the other hand, is dented, scratched, armored up and has 115K on it

there will be no accidental door dings on my truck...keying maybe...but someone will have to physically TRY to hurt my truck

in other news i finally bought a washer and dryer

What kind did you buy? I'm debating getting a new one. Did you get the rebate or has that been used up?

i wasnt eligible because it turns out you have to turn in an old washer when you buy the new energystar one to get the $100 rebate

i did however get 10% off at lowes because of a sale they had that ended yesterday

i got an upper tier lower end GE (if that makes sense)...i didnt buy the fancy colored front load ones...mine are normal old school style white top load washer and front load dryer

the washer is agitator-less and both are super capacity and high efficiency or whatnot

i spent $1000 and theyre brand new, warranty, and delivered and installed with all the hoses/cords/ducts etc

Sucks about the rebate, but you should be set for 10 years or so with your washer/dryer.

    yup

im not concerned with the $100 too much as long as my washer and dryer last me awhile

oh and i got 12 months no interest financing so i didnt have to shell out the cash up front...

paying $100/month and ill have it paid off in less than a year and ill have a lowes cc for when i NEED something later on down the road

i dont particularly like buying on credit...but given my income its more feasible to purchase large ticket items like this...

i feel comfortable enough to be able to pay these off before interest kicks in and i plan on "losing" that cc in my lockbox until further notice (ie buy a house and NEED stuff)

plus my truck is < 4 months from being paid off and my other 2 credit cards are about the same...so come august ill be able to put more than $100 towards the lowes bill

I don't like using them either (anymore  Used to be $15,000 in debt - my ex was always saying "if you want it, buy it and we'll pay for it later" I'm not just blaming him - I went along with it, until I learned how much the stuff was costing me)

But I will use the no interest deals if I need something.
