Aha even with my 5100s, they're the limiting factor. I'm not sure on the stock leaf pack and how much it droops. Easy way to tell is to unbolt the shock from the axle, and jack up the truck from the frame. You can see how large the gap is from the bottom of your shock to your axle, and there's your answer on how much longer your shocks should be.

Aren't the 5100s the same length as the oem shocks?

They're a little longer, like an inch or two IIRC. They're ~24.5" extended.

I never worry about it either, and I constantly have a rear tire in the air. It'll be nice when I get the rear end all set up in september for crazy droop.

It's cool, but I don't like the flares or the bumper.

    Help LAIR.
When I installed my SPC UCA's I used the red grease from Harbor freight. Is that the same grease I need for my driveline zerks, or something different?

I'd use it in there, as I don't think the u joints are too picky what they get, just as long as they get some grease.

Thank you. It looked like the same designation as the one discussed in a couple driveline threads (NLGI GC-LB lithium), but I wanted the cult i mean LAIR opinion.

but u know everything! yeah I'm pretty sure you would at least want to add come frame plates to box the rear end frame in. I think the X member would be a little overkill but I dunno hahah pretty sure @HolyHandGrenade has done it

Yes. Mine is boxed and X’d.

I didn’t do it though. That was before I started to weld.
