2016 suspension different than 2017???

    Lift, wheels, tires
    Friend of mine has a 2017 and he wants a 6" lift. I suggest pro comp as a good budget lift but they say their kit for the 2016 won't fit a 2017. Fabtech has their kit listed for both the 2016 and 2017. Who's wrong?

    I'm no expert but I would think they are identical. 6" lift ... is that a drop bracket? Cutting up a brand new truck brings a tear to my eye.

    That’s what I thought but I called pro comp and they said the 2016 and 2017 are completely different. I didn’t see how it could be but they were very clear about them being completely different

    Tell him to save the DB lift for the day his factory warranty runs out!

    Toyota is going to give him a hard time for any failure from wheel bearings to transmission, to steering and braking components.

    Or just don't do a db lift at all.....
