Excellent ! Thinking outside the box.

You may want to consider longitudinal bracing also ....... that looks like .12" thick ( 6061 T6 ? )

Watch for fatigue around the bolt holes .....maybe some large washers also.

I should have waited until it was warmer outside because the old bedside decals were a pain in the ass to get off. These looked too good though I couldn’t. Thanks to @CBoy808 for the custom decals I absolutely love them.

The part number 13SC250 is now WF-SC212. You can locate it on their online store. If you are looking to make your Tacoma into a dual exhaust you would need the part number WF-SD30212. That would also be on their online store. www.wickedflow.com/store

Ripped everything but the middle console out and put down some cdl tile and then covered it with lux liner pro from second skin audio, then put it all back together. Have about 6 hours into it and still have to do the doors. I've used about 40 sqft of cdl and 3 sheets of the luxliner so far. Probably could have put some of the liner on the back wall, but wasn't sure where everything would fit and still go back on, so I just did the floors. I will put both on the doors, not sure when that will happen. Only have these two photos, as once I got going I was in the zone a bit.Screen Shot 2018-01-30 at 7.10.17 PM.jpg Screen Shot 2018-01-30 at 7.09.54 PM.jpg

Used it like a truck. Harvested a bunch of fat lighter aka fatwood aka lighter knot.. Took 3 bed loads to get it all.

    Then applied a "protective coat"

If you just do the tiles on the back wall you should be fine. I did dynamat extreme and 1/8 dynaliner. Everything fit fine and made a big difference in rear road noise. Just don't put too much on cross braces. Those are your attachment points for rear bins.

Wow, you did more than I did, and it looks super clean. For the tiles I don't do the full coverage, I do the "knock test", I probably covered about 70% of the truck though. I also have the jbl sub and there are more screws than it looks like you had to go around but I didn't do the second layer on that back wall like you. The lux liner pro is about 1/2, maybe more so it can't squeeze under everything like I would prefer. I ended up covering a fair amount more than the stock carpet padding though and the stuff was much better than the stock stuff. Going to take it out tomorrow and see how well it did.

The lux pro is some thick stuff but works well where you can fit it. I know some say it's a waist of money to cover everything but I have done everything except the roof. On the doors I did inner and outer skins. Will do roof if I ever pull liner. Lots of work but we'll worth it IMO. you will like the difference.

I don't think anything with sound deadening is ever a waste of money. It cost a ton on my first car when I paid someone, and I have been doing it myself since, this is my 3rd vehicle I've done it to. If I had the patience and another 5 hours for the body I would cover everything too! I'm hesitant about the headliner and have never done one, I just feel like it would be a pain in the ass to take off?

I'm waiting on a little warmer weather for the doors so the adhesive for the lux can cure at a good temp. But I will put as much as I can on them for the cdl's.

Not much road noise comes through the roof. Mostly wind and rain noise. That's why I'll only do it if I have too pull it for something else...:D

If you put on a roof rack (of any sort), or if you live in areas where it rains a lot, then it's worth while to add sound deadening to the roof. There is NO sound deadening up there and just one giant piece of metal with only a couple cross bars. And if you can take off the door trim, you can remove the headliner...it's just a matter of removing all of the pillar trim and then popping the liner off.

I need to do mine, but I ran out of material and have not gotten around to ordering more. :p
