If you have to ask you can't afford it, plus Marty's work is so beautiful he would never allow it to be hidden! :D

This sounds like stuff I’ve ran before with generic stuff from hardwhere store. It’s to do if your only doing a single movable outlet.

Bet marty wound make it look professional.

Just did some googling and I think your tile idea is best solution from what I saw to make that flooring transition.

You start at the garage and work backward. Electrical as well as most stuff is easy to do just have to have a respect for it. And before you touch the main panel make sure to shut the main off! And test with a voltmeter so that it’s deffinatly off
Just need the correct size 220 breaker, wire and outlet. The hardwhere peps can always help you chose the correct stuff.

This is assuming your panel has 220.

Sounds like someone hasn't had a handful of 110 then, it more than tingles with good contact(not that I would know :burp:). I saw a guy take a solid hit with 220 and he had to sit down for a bit.

after doing some reading it doesn't seem like it would be too hard to add a subpanel in the garage and have multiple 220v outlets for my welder/air compressor/etc

I know, famous last words :luvya:
