I had no clue that they paved it. I grew up in lee county so not far from crisp county. My dad use to drag me there back in the 80’s and early 90’s when it was a dirt track. It was cool though, when the winged outlaws came to town.
    Wow, how things change.

I wasn’t aware that it was a thing. My dad said he’s hasn’t been over there since they paved the track. But said he wanted to get over this year but didn’t. Said they usually have some big to recognizable names, show up to race. Maybe next year I’ll check it out with my dad. I know he would like that.

It’s now one of the premier asphalt late mode races. Attracts current & former Nascar drivers, development drivers, and top late model drivers from across the country.

This is true. Kyle Busch raced it years ago and Erik Jones raced it last year

Dumb question for people more knowledgeable than me.

Can you run extended travel coilovers with stock UCAs? I know to utilize the full travel, aftermarket UCAs are needed. But if used with stock, will there be mass carnage?

It’s recommended you do. It won’t hurt until you go off-road I would think. Only time you utilize enough travel like that is off-road. But I suggesting going full mid-travel. You’d get better alignment numbers too

I kind of assumed the main ‘risk’ would be while off-roading, which do very little to zero of.

I’d be looking to keep them set at 1-2” of lift, so very much on the mild side. I honestly have no ‘need’ for extended travel coilovers, they just seem to come up for sale in the marketplace section more often than the standard travel variety.

If you aren’t going to use it, I wouldn’t get them unless it was a deal. Kinda point less to get extended travel for your use

@MTgirl, how do we get a new OP for the thread? I remember somehow it happened in the Alabama thread a while back but I don't remember for sure if it was you or another mod we asked to change it.

    .
Check your oil for gas. Usually carb atv's that over flow gas into your block but I would check just to be on the safe side. Didn't turn over in water did you?
