My dad always says it only rains when we ride! But that being said Alaska has a reputation of rain. All the rain.

Even with those I don't understand how water would be getting in.

It dosent when the pant is over the boot.

Inside the boot pants wound have a gap. Water enters the gap what you foot dosent completely fill.

Dont remember the brand. They were black and white and had orange insoles. They were only $125'ish and I didnt like the buckles.

And no, not street boots. It was at a powersports place in Silverthorne. Not much selection since its supposed to be winter and snow sports time.

They had 3 pairs of "dirt bike" boots. I'm thinking the Astars were Tech-1. The other brand was similar but had a few more buckles and the away from the shin design. When I crouched down to a riding position, that closed up, but then there was a gap at the back. And they were tightened almost to the max at the top.

I hadn't even thought about that. Now I know where my 220 is coming from for the garage once we convert the cooktop!

If you have room in your panel it’s easy enough to add another breaker, are you can move existing breakers around to make room, or you can double up with pancakes to make room, or there’s the tried and true way of piggyback off your dryer or range circuit (just don’t weld and dry your clothes at the same time...)
