It does hurt everyone and at this point it's not miscommunication. He has chosen to run his business by taking money for his personal use and leaving customers without product or money. I know because I have spoken to him in regards to my refund. Its unfortunate that I have to listen to a man(child) explain to me that he has bills to pay and that I have to wait for whenever he is ready to pay me.

I have papers filled and I'm filing this week. I'm not wasting anymore of my time on a scammer.

I’m looking at doing the same and may have a guy in ON to help me by serving him the papers. Though I’m worried if I need to make an appearance in ON court, I’m not sure I can get the time/money to travel

I have been calling, texting also with no luck. I would like to know who he owes money to and for what product and amount, please send me a PM. I'm trying to collect as much info to show the police, CRA and my lawyer. I want to know if its worth going after him as individuals or as a group to court. I also agree to post on his facebook and Instagram pages. I have some info on his family that we can contact to put more pressure on him, if they even know the scams he is doing.

A lawyer can represent you in most cases if you need to appear.

You could look into getting a paralegal to represent you, they are pretty affordable (vs a lawyer at least). While I am certainly no expert, I believe you can include your legal fees in your claim (again, not an expert).

I have compiled a list of people I have talked to, PM's and over the phone and have got a total dollar amount for what Core is in debt. I'm sure this isn't everyone out there so the total most likely is higher. At the moment, we are at appprox $22,000 owing.
    Broken down by province:
    BC - 4
    QC - 2
    ONT - 7

Someone go post this on True North for those assholes to share.

It's a real honest number from customers that are owed products and now refunds.

It's a mix really. RTT is probably the biggest one followed by roof racks, suspension stuff, treds, light brackets, snorkels. The thing is in all this I kind of understand the fab stuff not being delivered but, what about the retail products that actually exist? Why didn't he ever order any of those for all these people
including myself? He simply just took the money and used it for his own personal needs. Fucking crazy.

Yeah eh. I agree. You would think the profits made could go towards paying down the debt.

I just figured the stuff he made he would make a larger margin on.

Regardless I’m glad you did that!

He probably could and would have done well if it wasn't for his business degree. That got in the way. My guess is he owed them fab guys too and he got cut off. How do you explain that a profitable product for both him and his fab guys to just suddenly stop? He was making the sliders and roof racks and all of a sudden it stopped. There's a big Q there for me.

From what I heard it's because he lost all his suppliers. So he probably tried buying elsewhere but couldn't do so to turn a profit.

Thing is when I emailed tred they said they never heard of core so he definitely was not a registered retailer of theirs. Vs lucky 8 off-road in Buffalo where I got mine were listed.
