    It's a WiFi OBD II dongle. I know you asked for bluetooth, but it's a lot cheaper. It's not bad, but I found that this one causes the ABS light to flash if you leave it connected and turn the truck on. I ended up buying this cable and removing the pin causing that flashing to happen. I leave it connected all of the time now.

    I also use OBD Fusion ($10 IIRC) to do OBD II stuffs to the truck. It's pretty snazzy. It can clear trouble codes, run diagnostics, and allows you to create custom dashboards (pictured below).

    Has been flawless.


    Now for day to day and towing info I use a scan gauge II. It makes more sense for a couple of outputs vs the BLUEDRIVER with my iPad for detailed in depth troubleshooting.

    I use the Kiwi3, leave it installed all the time, and love it. I use it with DashCommand on both Android and iOS devices, which seems like the nicest UI of the OBD apps to me. Reads all settings, can clear codes, etc. Also, very low profile compared to other options.

    I have the Carista OBD II adaptor and really like it. You need to pay for the app if you're looking to open any/all available customization options but it's been nice to use.

    I was going to leave mine plugged in but it triggers one of my warning lights on the dash (forget which one) until I remove it.
    Does yours leave any lights on when it's plugged in?

    My experience is with BlueDriver... quick and easy to use. If all you want is a device to check codes and reset the CEL there are those types out there too. If you want more than that support from the manufacturer is important. My other truck, a Ford Ranger, has an issue that only appears in Mode 6. There is no description of the error for this in Mode 6 of the device. I undestand that for $99 they cant make this device do everything a more expensive scanner can do. An email to BlueDriver with the code and they showed me where I can look it up.

    The 20 dollar ones on Amazon work great. I use the torque lite app.

    Edit: not sure if those work for iPhones.

    It does on mine as well. My ABS light will light up after you turn the ignition off and back on again. I can't just leave it plugged in. I wonder if it's a function of the Bluetooth set up and if I bought a scanguage, it that would do it too.
