Will see orthopedic Dr first. Chiro's aren't really "doctors". Don't want a non doctor screwing with my spine.

I beg to differ sir. Chiropractic has worked wonders for myself, members of my immediate family, and other people that I know. But not looking to start an argument or debate. To each his own.

My cousin is partially paralyzed because of a chiropractor. I'll take my chances with a REAL doctor

Im almost 56 and a couple weeks ago I was carrying a 33# feed block on my shoulder up hill in the snow (feeding deer) and 5 gallon pail of feed in other hand . The next day my back was killing me then a week later I could hardly get up out of a chair without severe pain in left rear ribcage . Its almost gone now but man the pain actually took my breath away . Getting old is no fun and I am in very good shape for my age !I was told in 2002 that I have degenerative disc disease, I also have 2 herniated discs in my neck :annoyed:. But when you are used to being active you just keep going ! Good luck at the Dr .

@ work, but I don't know for how long....Lower back is raging. 2 more days before I can get in to see the doctor. Busy day, interviewing prospective employees to fill 3 different positions. Had one application (for MEN'S locker room attendant) from a young woman who is currently an "exotic dancer". I'm quite certain the guys would like her....But the wives would demand I was fired for bringing her in here. I do think she deserves a second interview though!

Todays agenda; Interview 3 leading candidates for HVACR tech. Staff meeting @ 10AM. Board meeting @ 6PM. Long day. My back still hurts. By the time the board meeting ends, my brain will hurt.

I need rock therapy. Mud as a 2nd option. May be going to Badlands this weekend. All depends on weather and road conditions.

I let my boss be the dedicated one. He's salary, I'm not.
Fucker pecks on that damn Macbook 16 hours a day and on weekends too. Workaholic for sure!

I like working, and money. He knows this. He also knows that I shut it down from about 6pm to 7am, unless we're working OT for a purpose or weekends. I'll gladly make more money, but I'm not going to push myself without a reward. This isn't a Salvation Army bell ringer gig...

I tell my employees that you'll never get paid for what you can do....You get paid for what you already did. There's a point in any given field where if you want more than just a job you have to throw yourself on the grenade every now and then. There are 43 country clubs within a 75 mile radius of Louisville. I have the highest salary of any person in similar position out of all those clubs. More than double that of some. The work load doesn't bother me. Being under-appreciated and/or mistreated does bother me. I have no issue with the job now that Asshat is gone.

BTW, Asshat is working in a Macy's Department store as controller in their finance dept. Pays about 1/3rd of his salary when he was here. We assume he was unable to tell his family he got canned (again) and stayed here, taking a much lower salary. We have some "connections" with his current employer and know what that position pays. I make almost double what he does now! JUSTICE!

I'm one of three people in an IT dept for a conveyor accessory manufacturer, I jump on grenades all damn day. I just don't talk about every step of it.
We're not appreciated at all and blamed for everything wrong with their computer, phone, printer, or shared drives. So, no, I'm not going to bust my balls without equal reward.

If it has a wire, call IT. If it has a power button, call IT. If it makes an electronic noise, call IT.

Unless it's production related, then it's Maintenance.
