yea, not sure if you saw the "horse stall blanket bed mat" talks a few pages back, but for $30, this thing is a BEAST. I underestimated how heavy it was, and I went to move it from @PyritePirateBill 's truck... I almost fell over haha

but just like plus sized ladies..... a change is needed to look better.....

so front grill, side emblems, and rear bumper.... that's all the chrome that I'm gonna change this year! haha

@Superman910, @Coot83, @Arcticelf If any of you guys are available and would be willing to take me for a ride soon? I just got my truck build date of 2/26-3/2 and would like to finalize my decision on suspension and tires...

@ilubtimmyhos can we talk dual battery setup? I like JerryTaco's config with remote light control and want to put on a remote starter... which that seems simple enough (to screw it up lol!)

@DOUBLLD CMC- I have read this is needed for 285s- yes?

Anyone with the OME BP-51 on the DCLB?

Im down to help give some perspective although I think me and superman should roll together for that if his schedule permits as he is MT and Im the resident LT guy. That way you can see the full effect on kings in both environments. As far as the OME BP-51s, I have heard from quite a few people that they didn't really live up to their hype and funds wise, its better to roll with one of the big coilover companies that you are already aware of. I would def get a ride in the OME's before considering pulling the trigger on those.

I just went from 285s to 315s, but I def had to cmc when I had 285s on. Especially if you plan to wheel and want full cycle, CMC is a must.

I would plan to get some skids/sliders down the road if you plan to run rocky stuff as that will save your drive train to a degree.

Maybe alternate between off-road/camp and then restaurants/breweries. I know some people would prefer to get off the pavement more often. But I do agree with the list. Let's get one going. We could just perpetually quote it and remove places as we go.

Thanks Coot! I like your thinking on this... and a wealth of invaluable info! I will be off-road in backcountry to access for wildlife and landscape photography. I also have this little voice inside my head to roll with Kings, but I would want to make my decision a little less emotional and more scientific :) I love the way Kings look! Where are you and Superman located?

Ive been thinking about building a tap setup for my truck. And i have my own kegs. SO we could combine off-roading with beers. Just sayin....
