Those that have ordered through 4 wheel parts online, when did the charge show up in your bank account/ credit card account??

I ordered new tires from them on 1-15-18 and had them shipped to my local 4 wheel parts. I picked them up yesterday (1-25-18). Previous to that, while I was waiting for them to get shipped, I checked my credit card account and didn't see a charge. Then on the 25th, I went to the store to pick them up, showed my id and the card I used to buy the tires. Sales guy gives me a receipt that says I paid for said tires, I get tires. Now as of this evening I still have no charge on my card. I've even checked the other card accounts I have to make sure I'm not losing my mind and charged it to a different card.

    The Dilemma

If I some how managed to not get charged for tires, that's amazing right? Maybe the charge will show up in a few days? I don't know. Well, I'm actually trying to hit a minimum spend on a SW credit card so I can get 60k miles and a companion pass. I needed this last $800+ purchase to get me there. I'm getting towards the end of my window for making the purchases, so, will this charge show up later? Or do I need to make another purchase?

Sometimes charges will disappear from your "authorizations" list for a while, then pop up a few weeks later. As far as I know, there's no set time frame when it appears, just that it'll happen within a few weeks. When it happened to me from another retailer, it was about two weeks before it reappeared as a normal charge, with the original purchase date as the transaction date.

Lol, have you called the 1800 number and asked if there has been any recent charged to your card? Or are you just checking on the online banking side. Either way it should have shown up by now, I would think. Good luck

I've used them multiple times, most transactions were applied or at least an authorization amount was applied at the time of purchase, I have also encountered situations where the charge showed up after the item was shipped direct from the actual manufacturer or picked up if shipped to one of their physical stores. Either way it sounds like it should have shown by now but I'd wait at minimum 3-5 business days or call your card company/bank and ask if the charge is there. That should end any doubt.

HAHA nice! I use my credit card for everything too and just pay it all off every two weeks (gets me 2.5% cashback on every purchases, increases my credit score, and I don't pay interest since I pay it off before statement balance due date)

Most of the time, it can take up to a month for it to post depending on how the vendor handles the transaction. I ordered my cargo bar like 2.5 weeks ago and it didn't show up on my account until today.

To update and complete this thread:
Everyone that said the charge would show up at a later date were right. The charge showed up on the credit card a few days after I picked them up on the 25th. The date of purchase on my account is shown as 1-15-18, when I originally purchased the tires online. Which should satisfy my minimum spend requirements.

    Thanks for the insight.
