What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Lol!!! At the end of the day Im just a regular Tacoma Owner & Enthusiast.

Good stuff with many, many uses. Everyone should have a box. If I drill into new metal I put some of this on either side if the bolt and nut to seal it up and to stop rust.

 

You could buy more bolts, stainless and short.

Me and the baby got down and dirty

 

Finished up the on board air project. Mounted a

$108 VIAIR 88P Portable Compressor Kit (12V, 120 Psi, Forup to 33" Tires)

VIAIR 88P above the storage compartment and a 1 gallon tank with a safety valve and pressure switch using air brake line and fittings. Added a quick disconnect coupling in the storage compartment.

 

When I was still in the military we were not allowed to use brass fittings on air tanks (safety reasons). If something were to malfunction (over pressurize) the brass fittings would be the first things to turn into flying objects.

 

Got backed into last night. Fun stuff let me tell ya.

Interesting...what did you use as an alternative? Brass fittings are still huge in the HD/trucking industry, air brakes, etc.

I can see that although with it under the truck it probably will be okay.
