    Hell to my understanding it's one of the faster growing cities in the hill country. And old people are choosing to retire to the hills instead of the coast in favor of the small towns with their vintage Americana feels

    Sounds accurate to me! Tons of super old ppl here, and more moving in all the time. Definitely a good place to retire. Laid back & quiet small town. Not much going on here during the winter months. Hunting season always brings tons of folks in here though
