    2005 Dmax's had a mid year engine change to the LLY which fixed the injector issues but some would get hot quicker towing heavy loads.

    I had the LLY version for 15+ years and overall it was a great truck for what I need it for. On 35's, sold with with 120K and it was in good shape.
    I beefed up the front end with quality heim joint UCA's and heim tie rods.
    Had to replace the fuel pressure regulator, FICM, idler/pitman arms twice (even though I had a supported drop bracket), and fuel filter assembly. Also did lower ball joints once. ALWAYS keep an extra fuel filter with you along with a strap wrench to get the old filter off.

    If you buy it I have a 2nd fuel filter system I'd get rid of of cheap.
