Mine has a 3inch lift. But power took a small hit, I don't even notice after 3 months.

Gas mileage 16 Houston stop lights. 18-19 on the highway under 70, over 70 drops to 15.5mpg

You are probably not using a multiplier for the mileage. Bigger tires=less revolutions, and you have to find the correct multiplier to find out. As a bonus, you put less miles on your truck than you actually are!

I had the fun this weekend of running v bar chains up to the ski hill. I only mounted them on the rear 2 tires, and did not have time to mount them on the front.

Unfortunately there was some rubbing above 15km/h, (10mph). It seems the spider tensioners that were sold with the chains is not powerful enough to overcome the centrifugal force.

However the rubbing occurred on the fenderwell behind where the mudflap would normally mount. Some heat gunning should fix this!

Ps, I'm running 255/85/r16 ST Maxx

Our trucks use the abs system. Mpg and mph and miles are correct regardless of tire size.

However a 43" tire would be fun!

So would you say he’s getting even less mpg than the truck states? Or more? Lol

Right, they’re obviously different. I just didn’t fully understand what those differences entail. Especially because they’re 12lbs heavier.

He's getting more miles per tank than the odometer is reading, so higher mpg. Bigger tires have less revolutions per mile, than the smaller truck tires do.

From a stock 30.6 to a 32.8 inch tire is aprox +7.25% which you should add to your per tank total miles and then divide by your total gallons. Computer mpg and vehicle speed is reading low due to the larger tire. Mine is off around 4 mph at 60 on computer is around 64 on GPS.

These set ups look sweet! I have a question and I apologize if it's been asked already, but will this size tire work on a stock Double Cab Long Bed SR5 4x4?

Sr5 might have different shocks but they sit same height as a OR so I don't see why they wouldn't.

I see no way possible. Maybe should double check is all. Your speedo should be off. This is way they sell calibration device. Sorry if this offended you. Done on that topic.
