So I got a set of Caliraised led light bar brackets and led bar off Amazon, I ordered a small mictuning switch to go where the bed inverter switch goes(mine is a sr) now if it wasn't so darn cold out and I just didn't get over a bad cold(but not flu thank god) i could get it installed. I got an 8d bar off amazon(whatever 8d means) cause I liked its look being mainly dark so it should make it more stealth, plus I won't get to use it a lot anyways. Screenshot_2018-01-03-18-59-28.jpg
So I've already looked over searching all the threads and watched videos and can't wait to get it out in, I just hope the switch isn't too bright and annoy me, I thought I could add a resistor/potentiometer to dim it if it was but being leds idk if it would do much at all. Well heres hoping for warmer weather!

Was the plant the variety that could pick your spirits up or maybe make you some money under the table ?

Well every year my wife asks and I say idc and don't get me anything, well this year i made a wish list after I bought my taco, planning on buying stuff as I go, well she saw me making it and told me not to buy any of it before Xmas and to send it to her. Now if I could just get her to do the same thing.

Lol ...I gathered the gest. There is a thread on Caliraised in 3rd gen about faux grill. You should read through the Last 6 pages before you throw good money there way.

I just couldn't justify the price for caliraised bar but brackets were reasonable, especially since I doubt I'll get to use the bar a lot

Well I got my light bar installed today after many attempts, so the first bar I bought...was only 28" instead of 32, it said it was 32 but it ment bracket length...anyways so I different light bar that was actually 32", got it installed and wired up with relay and mictuning switch but I'm having an issue that the switch is always powered I add a circuit on the tails to the red and yellow wire next to the green wire the other red and yellow to white from relay harness, black to black on relay harness and green to blue which was what I saw on a video link on here about how to wire mictuning switch, any ideas where I got this wiring wrong? I ment green or red? I'm assuming green, which leads me to the other wires, the black i got, the red for illumination where did u attach it? And my relay harness had 3 wires black, white and blue so I guess I need to find out what exactly the white and blue go to, maybe I can just wire white and blue together, should have done more research before putting it in today but I didn't expect the bar to be correct and when it was i figured why not finish it all up.

For dimmer wire? I used the green one on the toggle switch for bed light

Green is the one to the 40a relay
Black is ground, I used the one near the fuse block under the kick panel
    Red 2, dimmer wire

These are for the plug that goes into the mictuning switch

Thanks, I think that the blue or white wire on my relay harness was to power leds on the original switch that I cut off, I think I can wire them together, and I wires it wrong, I'll have to fix it later it functions now but bothers me. Thanks again for your quick replys

No prob. I did the same, bought a wire harness instead of making one and cut the switch off. Good luck!
