I get the dumb question thing it does get old but most of the guys asking are young kids and jberry did make a good point that if you are always a dick to someone new in the game then it just turns them away. They get excited and want to ask some questions.

 

Yea I get that. I do. But I’ve always been a “research first, ask questions second” kind of guy so it baffles me.

I also didn’t take into consideration it’s not conducive for moving the hobby forward with future generations.

 

A lot of the new home developments do this when you build vs buy one already there. They show you how to use the HVAC and such. Even building a custom home you do a final walk through to make sure everything is how you want.

 

IDK but the inspector fucktup and missed the appt.. The house smells like maple syrup.. And I ain't moving shit in until they fix it.. Seems like they're trying to cover their asses but hell Idk.

I do research first as well and you know as well as I sometimes that research can just lead to overwhelming brand loyalty or opinion only with no evidence to back. Also jberry made a good point that if someone new clicks a google search and sees all these asshole answers as their first impression into TW would they really want to join or be a part of that community.

 

Then I have no clue. My apt it was a 15 min run through in the office going over everything then me walking through the apt writing some shit down and I was done. Now that is my only experience with renting.
