In the snow or in the desert she looks good.

I've only had the truck a month and already got several compliments about it, especially the color. Went through an agricultural checkpoint the other day and the ranger was so stoked about my truck and color, we had a 2-minute conversation right there at the border while traffic backed up behind me. LOL

I did have one detractor though. I was parked in the back of a parking lot and I was walking back to my truck when I saw a middle-aged couple get out of a brand new TRD Sport that was parked close to mine. The husband gets out, sees my truck, and he goes "ohh, look at that one" in an admiring tone, kinda doing the stutter-step trying to stare and walk at the same time. His wife glances over at my truck, says, "it's ugly" somewhat dismissively and keeps walking. Ouch! My feels! Hahahaha.

Happy Taco Tuesday my sand peeps.

Picked up a Snugtop Sport Hi-liner Friday night. I honestly wasn't into these shells but after trying to stuff my tonneau I decided to go big. It sure changes the look and now I have name it "Hard Shell Taco."

Dang. Looks like you've got a coyote problem!

And a coyote solution all in the bed of your truck...

Actually you made me remember some other comments I got by Border Patrol checkpoints....no doubt some are ex-military.

This color seems to appeal to men far more than women. About the only negative comments I have gotten (and there haven't been many) have been from women. I don't really care at all. As soon as I saw a Taco in this color on the road, I knew I had to have one. I wasn't even really thinking about a new truck before then but it just struck me as a great looking truck.

Same. The first time I saw a quicksand 4Runner on the road I was blown away by how good it looked. Then I realized they had the same color on Tacomas as well, I was pretty much sold. I don't know if it's because I'm an Army vet and I feel at home in these colors or what but the color just sings to me. My first Tacoma, first Toyota for that matter.

Installed my TRD faux grille today. Why would Toyota have made this truck with any grille other than this????

In AZ today as I make the move from Houston TX to SoCal. Done a few tasteful mods since I bought it December 1st. I’m done except for a few minor things! Love the way it looks! Glad I bought quicksand after initially talking myself out of it! I think I would get bored of Cement quickly...

Weather and landscape. Don’t get be wrong, I love guns and a political system that helps the rich get richer from working but Cali is a beautiful place with a little of every environment. I’ve been a few times and god I hate the people but I love the state.

Been here 25 years, this is my last year in California. Fleeing the state because I hate the people and politics.
