Front Brake Replacement Kit?

I was referring to the Summit z36 brake kit. Are you referring to the tundra brake upgrade?

 

Yeah - are those not 13WL calipers?

They look like it to me. That's the brake upgrade that you want - the Tundra and Sequoia used 231mm brake calipers which was called the 13WL.

Those will fit but you need to trim your dust shield and use the correct brake lines. LC Engineering and Wheelers sell the lines and hardware. I recommend LC Engineering's kit because it uses the hard flared lines instead of the banjo bolt the Tacoma uses.

Yes I have 16' wheels.
Currently installing the kit, passenger side went really well, however, I am encountering an issue with the driver side you guys might be able to help with. I am installing wheeler's front brake lines and the banjo bolt isn't fitting properly into the caliper. It will NOT screw all the way down to the point where there isn't any play. I have the two copper washers on and it still spins after being torqued down properly. Possibly need another washer for a total of 3 or 4?

 

You might have to drill the end of the banjo bolt. I think thats what some have said about using wheelers.

This is probably the 2nd time someone has claimed this issue. I wonder what changed on wheelers end?

 

Did you try switching the passenger bolt for the drivers side bolt that you know that works. If the passenger bolt works on both calipers then you know the other bolt is no good, if the passenger bolt doesn't work on the drivers side, then you know it's the caliper.
