Part of the reason I come here is to find things I like that other people have done to their trucks, then try it on mine.

Hi all. Finally pulled the trigger and found my dream machine. 2010 Speedway Blue Double Cab 6ft. The beast only has 22K miles on it! Anyway, I am in the process of accenting everything black. Does anyone know where you can buy the black oem logos/emblems/badges/whatever they are called to replace all the silver ones on the sides and tailgate (Tacoma, SR5, TRD, Toyota). Hoping there is a replacement kit that has them all together. Or if someone has the part numbers for each individually if there isn't a complete kit, that would be great. I plan on uploading pics soon when I have everything finished.

    Thank you!

Nice dude, welcome! You can try checking for the TRD Pro badges from a 2015 or, the cheaper option, you could use plastidip on your existing emblems.

Also, post up pics! 22k is still a newborn lol

Thanks. I guess if I have to remove the silver emblems anyway, I might as well just paint those black and reapply them as opposed to buying new ones. I'm sure there are write ups on this all over the place I can Google.

There are, but long story short, you can use plastidip while the emblems are still on the truck. You can just peel away the extra stuff

Not sure if I posted my new shell on here yet. Stayed tuned for how the dealer deals with the fitment issue with the rear door. Its been 3 months of going back and forth. Paid 2400 bucks for this. Loaded, 8 cargo hooks in the roof. Power block and roof rack.

I want to say its an illusion. Just installed the General springs in the rear. They haven't settled much. Looking to go back to stock in the rear also.

IMG_5196.jpg IMG_5072.jpg I'm trying out a new set of tires.. they are called Road Warrior Mt200 Only had them a few months, but I can say I like them so far.. not loud at all,, great in mud and sand,, no vibrations or noise like the grapplers and I can go the same places... idk how many miles I'll get outta of em. I had gotten a little over 70k miles on the graps,, could have gotten more but pulling the boat all the time wore the back down faster than I realized , but if these last that long I'll be satisfied IMG_4657.jpg IMG_1898.jpg

Also, had anyone else had problems with the hood scoop bulge clear coat coming off?? It's just the scoop, nowhere else.. ‍♂️
