But yes V8 swap, bought a 95 Silverado 4x4 5.7 Liter for 1,000 bucks. I said why not, and here we are lol

Yeah it's pretty sweet over here, there's a pretty badass Jeep with a Cummins that pretty much rolls coal at idle lol. But one downside is there are rice rocket fart cans everywhere lol

 

Yup lol, love Toyotas, but that Chevy V8 tho can't beat it, sound, power, reliability, easy to work on, it'll be nice

 

Ah okay, I tried to change my pads yesterday and caliper pins are sized good. Didn't really wanna waste my time fighting old garbage parts store calipers. So I just put it off until I have an excuse to change to put tundy calipers on too. Still have 75% pad left but they are making squeaks that are ear piercing. Oh well haha

 

Chevy is good, hard to beat a Vortec 350 or LS variant. Wouldn't want a TBI motor but no problems putting a Chevy in a yota, plenty of reliability.

 

I was thinking of Ford reliability for some reason.

what do you mean by just started? I been wanting LT for the last 2 years but the money is the problem and trying to get the rear end LT with out a lift (really don't need it but it be nice) and a welder or any skills beyond bolt on lol

 

I don’t have any pictures, but I put a ubolt on each side of my old toolbox. Like a loop sticking out, bolted from the inside.

Probably get rears first and relocate my rear shocks and throw in ADS, then get ADS fronts down the road

 

Yea tell me about it just bought the new uca's and now kind of regretting that decision. should of saved the money and bought a LT kit instead. least just for the front end. But I could save the money from tax check and for a couple of months of checks. (Get paid every other week sucks lol) and order a LT kit instead of buying extended travel coil overs.

 

Does anyone know where I can buy a 1st gen center carrier bearing drop bracket? I can't find anyone that still manufactures them.

Dropped $50 for 4 bolts and the nuts and washers for them. Toyota takes advantage of the rare few who walk in needing leaf spring bolts.
