dont no what tires would be best??

its time to buy some tires i know they will be 31's but im not sure if i want m/t's or a/t's i do a good bit of mudding and some crawling with my buddy who has a 2010 wrangler with 4in lift and 35's so im thinkin bout m/t's so i can hang that much better but what do yall think?

 

Don't expect the MT's to last much past 40k, but they are apparently great off road (ive never had any).

All terrains can last as long as 70k and are descent off road.
If your willing to deal with the rapid wear, than go for a MT but if not, an AT will do just fine.

2nd Boggers otherwise any other 31's would have a hard time following 35's.

i've got 32x11.50x15R BFG mudders on my taco, combined with a 3" lift, its awesome in mud, sand, rock, w/e. I've had 'em for about 5 months and have been driving 60 miles a day on the highway to and from school and haven't noticed hardly ANY wear on them. I know that they're a discontinued tire now, but if you can get your hands on a set, i'd definitely get'em. also the BFG A/T's are pretty great fro 4x4ing and on road wear, my buddy got 65,000 miles out of his.... just my 2 cents. good luck!

 

BFG ATs suck your MPG so i dont recommend those.

One of the off-road mags did a head-to-head on MTs this last month. If I can find it, I'll pass on their info.

Edit: Found the mag. They looked at 33s on Jeeps to see mudding capabilities. They didn't comment on highway manners tread life or anything. For what it's worth, they rated the tires in this order:

1. Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ
2. Dick Cepek Mud Country
3. Toyo Open Country M/T
4. Nitto Mud Grabber
5. Yokohama Geolander M/T
