One exception would be a Korean girl named Sophie who I was friends with in 10th grade. She was a year younger than me and this in 9th grade.

She was very cute, reasonably intelligent, and one would never guess she had autism until they heard her speak. She had a bit of a speech impediment, but she could carry on an intelligent conversation. Her parents immigrated to America from South Korea and settled in Northern Virginia. She spoke perfect English and did not have the stereotypical Korean accent, but like most if not all kids raised in America by a foreign ESL family, she was also fluent in her native language (Korean).

 

And killed 4 people!

You will notice that the owner is actually sitting behind the wheel in some pictures. Not only did he let me take pictures of his truck, but he was flattered that I took such an interest in it, and he was absolutely amazed that I knew as much about it as I did...

This here is a 1984 Dodge Ramcharger Royal SE Prospector 2WD, with the factory 360cid 4bbl V8, 3-speed automatic, and factory positraction rear end! It is fully loaded with ICE COLD factory A/C (still R-12 according to the owner), power everything, cruise control, and tilt wheel. The owner installed a modern radio with CD player and new speakers, and I also do not know if it was a 2bbl or 4bbl carburetor from the factory. I just remember the guy telling it was a 4-barrel...
