I carry the P238 in the summer on a regular basis. I have several different holster that make it concealable and pleasant to carry. Added a hogue grip which made a big difference with shooting it. Just wanted something smaller that was easier to carry than the heavier 45's I carry in the cooler months.
Shot the 938 and it was similar to the 238 but just enough difference that I didn't care for it. I was a little biased too since I already have the same concept just in a different caliber.
See if you can try some before you buy!!

That’s the plan. So far all the ranges I’ve checked only have the 938 for rent but it’d be a good start at least. Thankfully the weight doesn’t bother me much (thanks to my Beltman belt ) mostly just the shape of the gun and my body build make it difficult. So options are different gun or eat more sandwiches. New gun sounded easier.

I get carrying a .380 for ultimate concealment, and I plan on picking up another tiny pistol for shorts carry. I get a lot of my data from here, and I'm sure the data is mostly right: http://www.ballistics101.com/380_acp.php vs http://www.ballistics101.com/9mm.php The 9mm just has so much more punch. I'm not bagging on it, it's got a purpose. But I need a bit more gun in hand (energy and size) and they don't really make compact .380's, they're always pocket pistols it seems.

Obviously the 9mm is a more powerful round, but he said that it makes no sense to carry a .380 because it isn't powerful enough. That's the part I take issue with; something like 55 ft/lbs is considered fatal, and even the lowest-pressure .380 makes more than double that. What matters is shot placement; you can kill someone with a dinky little .22 if you aim correctly, and people survive getting shot by 9mm, .40, and .45's every day of the week. :notsure:
I just hate the argument of 'not enough gun' because people seem to equate carrying a bigger caliber with not having to train as often, because the greater 'punch' will make up for it. :der:

Any time some suggests 9mm is ineffective, I tell them they should ask Trayvon Martin how ineffective it is.

Probably not the best to post that. I'm all for guns but no reason to give the stigma of us being racist.

    Ehhh I hate caliber debates

I've dealt with people killed by every major caliber including an attempted rapist who took 2 .22lr to the nasal cavity

I've also dealt with people who've survived every major caliber too...including a guy who took birdshot to the face...also arrested a guy once for pointing a pistol at me after he took a .223 round to the spine...as we were dealing with him I discovered I worked his shooting 3 months prior where he took 6 45 rounds to the chest and survived

Sometimes it's more luck than anything so I always tell people to carry what they are most accurate with

Yep. Shot placement is key. A round to the pumphouse or to the brain pan typically does the trick. Of course, shooting any creature in the face usually changes its attitude.

We were just talking about this last night at the LGS as the owner had just got back from shot with new goodies coming out and this was one of them. He was basically saying the same with price point somewhere in $800-$975 range as there will be some arm brace options...

Heard the one they had at shot show was a non-firing prototype. Also Early 2019 for actual release.

Be interesting to see how they turn out though. I wont be trading my Zenith MP5-K for one but if they were to offer other variants like just a standard mp5 i might be interested

I am very intrigued, I've been eyeballing a 9mm carbine/SBR/"pistol" lately but I just don't like the way the AR pattern ones with the Glock magazines look. I'm sure they are functional but for a strictly fun gun like this form can be just as important as function.

What people need to understand is that handguns are altogether inadequate. They sacrifice a lot for the sake of confenience. Very few are gonna be one shot stops. They are great fir carry but should not be considered a primary arm. There is a reason cops grab ARs or shotguns when they know it's going down ahead of time.
