Well for the employee price I personally could get a new 3rd gen, it would be very competitive with the price of a lower milage used 12+ 2nd gen.

Nice man, what is the going rate for a good 12+ second gen...26?

Yeah red can be a pain. The Barcelona red looks great but man if you don't maintain it it start to look like shit. The paint on mine is destroyed and it would cost a bunch to repaint because it is a factory pearl paint. And don't get me started on the higher chance of speeding tickets :anonymous:

Does having red make your vehicle have a higher chance of getting pulled over? Im not a fan of red that much cause growing up most of our cars were red. I could see after I get my build complete to eventually paint it that cavalry blue or something as I think second gens would look great with these new unique colors the pros are getting.

Are the 12-15 years the better sellers for the second gens? I know to a degree its a no-brainer with them normally being less mileage and newer. I wonder if in time if the 12-15 models might become more sought out?

Yeah they are supposed to and I definitely notice cops eye balling me a lot more when I'm in my bright red Firebird than when I'm in anything else. The other red cars in my little fleet tend to get more attention too while my black 96 4runner doesn't get even a glance even though I drive it faster.

Yeah all those fancy colors are sweet. We have a customer at work that drives one of those pearl brown tundras. On paper it sounds weird but man is that color sexy. Would have a hard time scratching that on a trail

Honestly I have considered getting a beater first gen someday and making that either white or get a color matched linex paint job on the exterior for added 0-fucks when on the trail. If I did it right I think Hard Carl would even appreciate it.

Never would have thought that red was that much of an eye turner unless it was the right sort of sports car. Shit maybe this is the little knowledge I need to go out like Jimmy123 did!

I love cheese, but the old man has sort of ruined grilled cheese for me. This could change the game.
