Did you just recently do work where the ecu has been disconnected from a power source for an extended period of time? For example, battery being disconnected for more than 3 days?

    I do, kinda.
It’s a 15. Could be the battery I guess but I’ve got Duel battery’s. Maybe My main battery is bad my ML-ACR switched over and that’s why it fired back up. The main is still the stock battery.

Ah. Yes, that’s pretty much the scenario that happened with my ML-ACR when I still had my stock battery in the mix. Replaced stock and house battery with AGM recently. No worries since.

Also, mine is a 2015 as well. 59k... damn, I need to buy another work truck.

So what is the best approach to try and bye a truck that is rotting away in someones driveway. I drive by this truck every day for almost 4 years and wish it was mine. Now that my truck has sold I have a little extra lying around. I think its a 1979-1983 single cab 4x4 with at some point updated lift and tires (mid 90s by the looks of it). The truck has been in same location since I laid eyes on it, so who knows what needs to be done to it or worth purchasing.

Anyways, go the letter on windshield route or just knock on door and start up a convo?

Never done it myself, but I'd go knock and if they don't answer then leave the letter on the windshield :notsure:

The house itself seems like a hoarding situation lol, they have multiple cars and piles in front yard.

For some reason I imagine an old lady answering the door with a shotgun on shoulder.
