I got my Pre new in November and just noticed today that a couple of bugs had splattered against my bumper and their sucide where they hit took the freaking paint off my front bumper, DAMMIT!! WTF?! This really pisses me off - does touch up paint work or does it just make it look "touched up?"

If you had your rathers and had a choice of either a painted stock bumper or a stock (real) chrome bumper (not chrome-look over plastic), or a flat black ABS-type front bumper which would you rather have?

do they even make a chrome front bumper for our trucks?

I voted black, its what I have and cleans easily, but if I use a "wet" cleaner like amor all it attracts dust very badly

the leading minor of order 1 is not positive definite.
probably real crome depending on how it was styled. but not if it's anything like the rear chrome bumper on 2nd gens. really thin metal can not actually "bump" anything without denting/crumpling. what happend to the days when bumpers were for bumping stuff?

It IF you had a choice - Toyota puts together option packages. I personally would rather have had the choice of a real chrome bumper not painted. Chrome can be cleaned and doesn't "chip" or "flake" like when a bug hits it.

Obviously he means the grill surround peeps. I mean really :p

Anyway I ditched my stock chrome grill for a color matched BSP one. I did the same with the rear bumper to. Never looked pack, I hate chrome.

My truck only has park, fast, and faster as an option. I paid extra for the option.
