Readylift SST, Does anyone have pics of this lift on their truck ?

If I go with this lift and go with 285's do I need to put in spidertrax for the back spacing(with stock wheels, 2008 trd offroad) ?

 

yeah you will need to go with some spidertrax if your going with stock wheels on 285s my friend put 285 km2s on his stock wheels and those rubbed like crazy on his UCAs not even half a inch gap between them.

No its a 6inch fabtech lift on some 35s lol

 

If you get new uca's then you won't need wheel spacer's. You will need the uca's anyways so might as well get them first and avoid the spacer's.

 

I'm running the SST kit. Save your money and go with something better or go for Billy 5100s

 

I had a spacer lift kit, like toucan said save your money and get something better. I had a 3" spacer lift made my truck look great but rode worse than stock, and I lost articulation when wheelin. Just switched to Billy's and so far I love them. little bit less lift than I had but rides right.

 

My dealer is telling me this is the only lift that won't vodin my warranty ???

I am having the tsb done and I think afterwards I am going to install the 2.25" front readylift. Despite all warnings to do spacers, I think these are great. They are made out of steel and mount on top of the shock assembly. For this reason i do not believe the ride is going to be that harsh and if it is-oh well. I thought about 5100s but I dont want 1.75" and I dont want 2.5", so 2.25" sounds good with the diff drop. I thought about this lift because eventually I am going with full 3" lift and dont want to replace a brand new setup.

 

The dealership said that the ReadyLift SST won't void the warranty, it comes with a one inch rear block, diff drop, and front spacers. But if I were to go with bilsteins, OME or toytec the warranty will be void....

 

Nothing can "void a warranty". Read up on the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act. Bottom line, it is up to the dealership to prove that something you did to your truck caused a failure. In other words, they can't claim that putting larger tires on caused the radio to fail.

 

I got the leveling kit and rear blocks. The main reason I went with Ready lift is because they guarantee a stock ride. I called the company and they told me that dealerships install these on new vehicles and it is covered under warranty. My truck is level with this set-up. You may be nose high with the SST kit unlesss you have the TSB done. Just FYI.

 

TSB ? Did the ride change much for you with the lift ? what size tire are you running ? spacers ?

I'm a Bilstein guy but I would just chime in with an observation. Steelhead is in Canada so if it's a Canadian spec'd truck he will not need the TSB. Canuck trucks come with a stock 4 leaf pack.

 

Nope...I got Light Racing UCAs and when I went to buy 285s they rubbed so bad with my stock wheels on the UCAs that they couldn't even mount em

So I just bought some 265s again to save up for new wheels with a deeper BSing
