I used 3 small nylnut /bolts to secure accessory rail to the trim bezel. The bolt heads are hidden down in the channel. Easy to fill the holes back in with plugs as they are only 1/8" in diameter. Also, the Ram balls can slide back and forth for fine tuning the placement of your mounted accessories.

On instagram there is a guy (Spartanxtaco) and he builds these light bars. It’s top notch quality by far and he warranties his stuff for life.

I took some close up pics of the RAM Ball mounts (I have 3 different kinds). If you know about the Scosche magnet mounts (found at Target, etc.) you may be ale to see how I tool off the Magnet part of the device, drilled it to accept the RAM BALL thread, then used a nut inside the magnet plate to secure it. Hope this helps. I'll post the photos of the mounts shortly.

Ok all finished. It came out well. Some things I would have done different but overall very happy with how it came out. Thanks to import equipment for the sport version.

PS ignore the small decal on grill pulling off now I need a dryer to hear up and remove

The first image is of the RAM BALL mount only (showing the threaded screw coming out of the RAM BALL base plate). The second image is of the RAM BALL mounted to the Scosche magnetic back plate. There is a very thin metal plate that goes on the back of your phone, iPad, tablet, accessory, etc. I hope this makes some sense.

Finally got the pro grill on! What I didn't realize, was how chunky it was until I literally put it on, and how much farther it stuck out than the original . I like it!

I have to pick up a 12 foot piece of butcher block countertop this weekend and haul it an hour in my shortbed. Luckily I have my Harbor Freight truck bed extender but I realized I had nothing to tie down to in the front of the bed. So a couple days ago I ordered a 10 pack of d-rings off of Amazon and installed them yesterday evening. Best $20 mod I think I have done so far. It took less than an hour to do all 10. I pulled up the bed bolts, dremeled down the threads on top to slip the washers off, drilled out the d-ring holes to a 1/2 inch, and screwed them back in, easy peasy. The ones mounted behind the bed rail were even easier, just popped them out, slipped the d-ring behind, and popped them back in. So many options for tying crap down now, I'm just going to start hauling random things around just for fun.
