I dig them both. The brown club cab is the one that made me perk up about the old Dodge lettering

I learned to drive stick in a '91 Toyota pickup!

Was it a base model Ramcharger with no A/C?

I've never driven a vintage Bug, but I'm gonna go with yes since it's the same basic layout...

The Saturn belonged to my dad's boss, who lives in Delaware. My dad's boss has money and a beautiful house, but he's very humble when it comes to cars. He has an old BMW, the 2004 Honda Odyssey he bought from my dad for $3,500, and two other random vehicles I can't remember. One of those replaced the Saturn.

My dad's boss and a couple of other coworkers came to our house for a party, and my dad gave me some beer money and paid for a 2-way Uber ride just to get me out of the house for the night.

Everyone spent the night since they'd been drinking and had to go into work the next day.

As my dad's boss is leaving, I realize he drove the Saturn he'd previously told me about. At this point it had been about a year and a half since I'd driven a stick shift and I wanted to scratch that itch...

I asked my dad's boss if I could drive the Saturn around the block a couple times and he said yes.

This was a basic commuter car my dad's boss had purchased for pennies on the dollar. It had A/C, tilt wheel (and unlike my Tacoma at the time, intermittent wipers), and a CD player. That was it...

It was red, and despite being 14 years old with about 200K on the clock, it didn't look it!

The car started right up, the engine ran great, and the transmission shifted smoothly. The clutch, supposedly original despite the high mileage, was also easy and smooth in terms of operation.

This was the summer of 2016 and we were having a heat wave. The A/C in that 14-y/o, 200K mile Saturn worked great and blew ICE COLD air!

My friend and former coworker bought a used 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 WT 4x4, with the 4.8L Vortec V8. This truck had really low miles...

I just talked to him today and found out the transmission went!

Luckily, he was able to get rid of it and get out from under his remaining payments!

In 2015, I bought a one-owner 1999 Nissan Frontier with just 76000 miles on it for $3200. It was my very first vehicle purchased by myself, and proved to be an extremely poor choice. Everything from front end components to thermostat to coolant hoses to oil seals/gaskets kept going bad. Sold a year later with 87000 miles for $2600 to a Mexican (he had Mexican ID) construction worker. I have the truck on my carfax app, so I can see its registration is still up to date. In June 2017, it had 99k miles. I’m curious to see how many miles it’s got on it come June 2018.

I know this door came from a GM product of some sort; I'm just not entirely sure what...
