    EDC a 1911 or a 357 is like daily driving 44 Boggers and a spool. You can do it, but why do it unless you are trying to impress someone. Get a Glock. 17 rounds and it goes bang every time.

    In a single stack platform I would agree. But the double stacked polymer framed guns that so many people like to carry (because capacity) do not weigh any less when loaded.
